Introducing The Joy Edit.
Because Joy is Our Birthright.
Your joy doesn’t have to be loud. It’s yours after all. In fact, joy holds the power to be many things - quiet, curious, contemplative, courageous. You get to decide.
In a day and time when the news is grim and hope feels hard to come by, joy can easily become a casualty, but it doesn’t have to. In fact, joy was never meant to be a luxury, placed on reserve for ‘the good times’; joy has always been your birthright.
This summer, The Conversationalist is hosting a shared season of reflection rooted in the art of joyful living, The Joy Edit. For six weeks, we’ll anchor ourselves in six different elements of joy, including introspection, creativity, evolution, community, and more.
In tandem, we’ll virtually work through the Finding Joy Guided Journal in order to individually and collectively cultivate a life of joy on our own terms.
Here’s what you can expect:
A weekly guided Substack reflection to accompany the Finding Joy journal.
A thoughtful prompt to spark connection & curiosity.
A personal challenge to aid you throughout the week.
There is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to embark on this experience. The goal is simply to show up and meet the moment.
If you’re ready for a summer that feels different from the rest, The Joy Edit is for you.
